The Prolite Anatomic Girth is proven to dramatically increase a horse’s freedom of movement. Developed with Fairfax and subjected to their rigorous scientific testing, this anatomic girth increases front leg extension and hock flexion, and reduces pressure and pinching behind the elbow.

The narrow gauge girth is designed specifically to fit horses and ponies with a narrower rib cage. If the flat area between the horse’s elbows measures less than 8″, your horse needs the narrow gauge. Or, if a sweat scraper won’t fit between the front legs, the horse is a narrow gauge fit. If the palm of your hand can lay flat between the horse’s front legs, your horse is more likely to need a standard-fit girth.
