Bates Demo Saddles

If you haven’t tried a new Bates saddle recently, it’s a great time to take a test ride in one of our demo saddles! Saddle fitting clients within our traveling area may test ride any of our demo saddles during fitting appointments. Our stock of demos is always changing, but usually demo saddles are available in seat sizes 17″ or 17.5″, with a range of color, leather, and flap options to try. Bates Elevation DS+

Bates Elevation DS+

The Elevation DS+ provides a secure, deep seat (DS), with a wide seat area and a narrower twist for comfortable landings and a close feel with the horse. An anatomically shaped tree provides greater room for horse’s shoulder and reduces lifting at the back.

The Elevation DS+ features double-lined leather for an ultra-soft and grippy feel. This model can also be upgraded with Luxe leather and calf Flexiblocs.

The Caprilli Close Contact+ provides a secure, comfortable seat and classic close-contact profile. This model is engineered for excellent balance and comfort. The Caprilli Close Contact+ features double-lined leather for a soft and grippy feel, and may also be upgraded to Bates’ new Heritage leather. This saddle can also be ordered with forward flap or extended flap options.

The Innova Mono+ features an innovative monoflap design, with a FlexiContourbloc and Adjustable Ergonomic Stirrup Bar for ultimate comfort and customization. The saddle has a deep, open seat which worked with the contoured thigh block to create an extremely close feel with your horse. This model comes standard with double-lined leather and can be upgraded with Luxe leather.

Bates Dressage+ Saddle

The Bates Dressage saddle offers elegant lines and traditional appearance with plenty of innovative features under the hood. The Adjustable Ergonomic Stirrup Bar and Flexibloc system allow you to personalize the fit to your optimal riding position, while the EASY-CHANGE Fit Solution makes it simple to achieve a comfortable, customized fit for your horse. The Bates Dressage saddle has a deep seat and narrow twist, with a broad sitting area for extra support and security. The Dressage+ model comes standard with double-lined leather, and may be upgraded to Luxe.
